Default AB Blood Tank work in progress W/N "bleeding groups"

I've been working on a theme build for AB for the last couple of days. To put it simply it started off as an idea to use bleeding against a group and then spike some damage. I started with W/R and did prety well with Barbed Trap and Troll Ungent as my only 2 Ranger skills, but the trap was so easily interrupted that I searched every skill to see what else could feed the bleeding idea better. I ended up with W/N but I still think that it could use some more work to get it more efficent. Which is why I post this here where everyone seems to love bashing and giving out advice in one spot

The build: W/N
Armor: Knights helm with sup absorption rune for the ST+1
Glads Chest, arms, and leggings. 1 sup. St rune, and minor tactics +1
Knights boots with sup. axe rune
Victos Bullwark and a max req.8 axe with 15^50 HP+30 and Barbed haft
Also Victos Bullwark and max vampiric axe HP+30 15^50 for actual combat

HP=439 E=26
Skills:Sprint, Healing Signet, Defy Pain, Endure Pain, Cyclone Axe, Dismember,Signet of Agony+Plague Sending<combo

With the W/R build substitute out the 2 necro skills for Barbed Trap and Troll Ungent. Which seemed to work but the trap didn't work half the time.


Please help me fix my Blood Tank build if you would. Thank you for your suggestions and comments in advance.

*EDIT* It works way better with this setup now

Where are you getting your bleeding from again? Dismember doesn't cause bleeding.

To be honest, this build can tank, but your damage is laaaaaaackinnnggggg. Good luck against a half decent monk.

Signet of Agony+Plague Sending for the Bleeding to kick in plus the damage to the group. Follow it with Cyclone axe and your barbed axe for elongated bleeding. Then you start in with the Dismember. Hope that clears up some stuff for how it works.

I also added Heal Sig instead of blood renewal. Seems to work out better with the +1 tactic rune when i'm away from agro.

And no i'm not new. Just new idea, and yes this build does work prety good.

If all you're looking for is to bash me for your own self amusement, I suggest you take it elsewhere. Tanking is dumb in PVP true, if you had looked at the build and concept behind this build you'de probably realise that this more of a DD build and I don't plan on living long while using this. I force them to run and bleed or use up energy trying to fix the problems I give the enemy. This also comes in handy when someone tries to put cripple on me. Which I just use Plague Sending and let them cripple themselves while they bleed and I sprint and kill them off.

This is a disrupt setup, not a tank build.

"what's in a name?" Just because you see (tank) and (AB) in the name doesn't mean you shouldn't read the build or concept.

Doing little "spike" damage, wasting your elite, negating the true nature of AB's....Something's wrong mate.

Havn't even seen that info^^ but thanks. I did look on Wikki but it didn't have a build like mine to reference off of. Yeah you are right about the "little spike damge" which wasn't the idea behind this build as i'm sure you know by now. As for wasting my elite, I find that having 2 skills that give me 314hp instantly is quite usefull in AB for this build.

I know it's not the most uber build you've ever run across ppl, all i'm saying is I like it/it's very fun/ very usefull in AB/ and it's different than the cookie cutter touch ranger crap that everyone seems to use. I like to do different things with my builds.

1) Cyclone Axe isnt useful in PvP, your not going to get mobed.
2) Defy Pain is a useless elite compared to many other warrior elites.
3) You have 2 sups, so you have low health. Warriors are in the front line, and 439 health doesnt help.
4) No knockdowns, so kiting is easy even if you use sprint.
5) Your damage is crap.
6) If you use SoA and the enemy runs with a speed buff, your stuck with bleeding.

Second.. where is the damage, that the point of the other people making about the 'tank' ness.
No attributes. So great you have some fancy gold weapons. Why can you not say Vamp +15%^50 of fort (we assume its max, since why would anybody bring less than max into pvp) and save us all some time.

Majority of anti-WAR damage is armour ignoring so your 140 armour has gone to waste. Also anything that can cast a warrior shutdown: Crip anguish/blind bot/failure bot/touch necro with whirling =O will just need to stand there until defy and endure runs out. With your 18% sac at about 600hp and incidental damage, your remaining health is at about 120-150hp. 1 Orb will do it.

So I ask you, what is this build supposed to be able to be used against?
